The National Scholastic Sports Foundation (NSSF) is a tax-exempt 501©(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the scholastic growth and athletic development of junior age high school athletes within the sports of track & field and cross country.
Founded in 1990, the NSSF presents and manages 12 events over the scholastic year, which attracts more than 11,000 student athletes annually. Our mission is to support economically challenged student athletes who can benefit from participating in these events.
Through our programs, the NSSF and its partners have distributed in excess of $1,400,000 in cash and equipment to individuals, teams, and school systems across the United States. More than 60% of the 2004 United States Olympic Track & Field Team have benefited from these initiatives while in high school and competed in one or more of our competitions over their scholastic career.
We are please to offer individuals, fans of the sport and entities the opportunity to work together with us in supporting these programs and activities. Donors can select from contributions to the general travel fund, sponsoring individual events or earmarking support to specific states and/or teams.
The NSSF greatly appreciates any and all financial donations as we continue our work providing opportunities for our "Olympians of Tomorrow" and their development as individuals and athletes.
